750 17th Street occupies a premier location in DC's Central Business District, located near the White House and within viewing distance of the Washington Monument. Built in 1989, this 12-story facility has a rather small floor plate and building step-backs that make it a challenging space to plan.
To respond to demands to enhance the building's leasable attributes, we created new functions for the 2nd floor, including a Large Conference/Meeting Room and Tenant Lounge as well as a new 2,300-sf Fitness Center.
While many buildings in today's market provide efficient floor plates and amenity spaces to meet the needs of a Class A office environment, we also strived to implement a design that is comfortable, friendly, and welcoming to a wide variety of tenants, thus presenting a more contemporary, relaxed approach to designing corporate work spaces.
The environments created at 750 17th are targeted to tenants who desire a heterogeneous, yet serene atmosphere that reflects the needs of the future workplace.
